Wow thanks for the helpful input. Well i worked with my friend and got it past the boot error when we tried 2 sticks instead of one. Basicaly i just traided my 1 gig stick for his 2 512 sticks and everyone is happy since he doesn't have dual channel. It seems that it should be able to boot with...

at first i was getting a beep code and searched forever to find a list of what beep codes ment what with no avail but finaly found that with only one stick of ram i needed to put it in the second slot which I did. No more beep codes. Ill check the CPU again.

yeah posts fine i can go into the bios setup if i choose to and it will stay there indefinatly but ot stalls around when it says Verifying DMI something or other. Sometimes it gets a step further sometimes not that far. Im am going to try to hook up with a friend that has things that i can swap...

Basicaly i got some upgrades for my computer and put it all together and im getting a very odd set of problems. First off its a Lan Party nF4 SLI mother board, AMD 64 4000+, MSI 6800gt, Antec NeoPower 450 watt psu, 1 gig pc 3200 ram. thats about it for the new stuff. Now for the problems...

conecting things to a network through a computer

wireless adaptor would run me like 100 bucks. i have the materials. i can make diferent cables if need be but i have a few crossover cables already made. i just need to know how to do it

my computer teacher said it was ok seeing that he couldn't change a display setting on my user name unless he made me an administrator for a short time which he couldn't do because he usualy works in the mac lab and doesn't know how to change user's statuses on the server in the pc lab. but...

Dreamweaver MX problem

i know its posible to make a button that closes the web page but i dont know how. i would like to be able to link to a page and then at the bottom of that page it have a link that says "close this page" or whatnot but cant figure out what exactly would do that.

how to play a win95 game under winxp ?

is my monitor dieing

just about 15 minutes ago it started making a high pitch noise. after some trouble shooting i realized it only makes this noise when a large majority of the screen is filled with light colors. is there a way to fix this? i have turned it on and off and same effect.
