Multiple Startup Profiles

I tried that.. but can't seem to figure where to customize the start-up apps for each user.. and as I said, I tried Advanced Startup Manager, but everything I edited, changed it for the system, not the user.

So I'm wondering if there's some way to create multiple startup profiles, with each profile only loading up certain apps on startup. I tried one out, can't remember what it was called, but there was no way (or atleast I couldn't figure out how) to edit each profile to have it's own startup...

speakers "pop" upon start

you mean when you first turn them on, it has a single "pop" sound? I think that's fairly normally... my creative labs 5.1 set do that too... I've just lived with it

Need help, this has me stumped

have you tried resetting the ESCD data? Can't remember the exact name in the BIOS, but when enabled after POST it says "Updating ESCD Information" or something like that.. basically letting the BIOS re-configure IRQs and whatnot.. atleast I think that's what it does? Anyway, it's recommended...

Problem with trying to bring up gmail in IE

I assume that's a download accelerator program? Is there no way to ignore the site within the program? Or how about an option to let it bring up a dialogue box, to choose wether you want to download it with download express or let IE handle it?

well I got a reply from DFI Tech Support. They said I'd be able to remove the chip, mail it into them, and they could reprogram it. So we'll see how that goes. Also recommended getting an RD1 BIOS Savior, so what the hell. Might as well haha

SONY PSP is a piece of crap

I work at a wal-mart up here... out of the 20 we had, 2 were returned due to "defects". Well, the first one was one small pixel, assumed it was "dead" I dunno, it was white and quite noticeable. The 2nd one was due to sound issues. There was a weird noise coming through the speakers, over the...

Need help with wireless adapter.

don't they have the software/drivers available for download? that's gonna be your only choice, unless you wanna call 'em up, pay like $5+shipping for the disc, and then wait 2-4 weeks or so. or, find somebody else with it, and have 'em make you a copy of the disc.

well, all the diagnostic LEDs and Standby power LEDs stay on... the HD light is not staying on.. I disconnected everything but the video card and 1 harddrive. I tried without the videocard, and could not get a beep code. The 2 leads from the speaker go to 13 - Speaker Data, and 19 - Speaker Power
