Yesterday my SOYO flatscreen display started to screw up. (its maybe 4 years old) The upper right quarter of my screen is now much brighter/lighter than the rest of the screen. It is still usable/readable, but it is much "paler" than the rest. It is like this in the desktop, and in any other...
Thanks for the help. This Ausus motherboard (Asus M2N) doesn't have it's own speaker, and neither does my case (antec P180). After robisbell's post, I added a speaker from an old case. Now I'm getting a Post error beep code. It looks like I have bad memory, or the board doesn't like this type of...
Hey guys,
This is my third build and my computer won't post. Is there an excepted progression to find which part is responsible?
I hooked it all up outside the box and it still didn't post.
Do you need an external speaker to hear the post beep, or does the motherboard make the sound...
In high school wrestling, the oponents don't stand upright like in some judo matches I've seen. Standing straight up in wrestling is just asking for your opponent to do a single or double leg takedown! I just haven't seen/done many leg sweeps, cause they don't tend to work very well.
You're going to run into problems trying to set up a "good" home theater setup for $1500, most people are recommending stuff that would send you quite a bit over your budget. I have some thoughts that you might want to consider.
You can get a pretty nice sub from www.partsexpress.com for...
I've got to disagree with this. I don't knock Bose for being different, I knock Bose for being old technology that is VERY overpriced. They just don't offer a comparable product to the other manufacturers, AND they overcharge on top of that!
outpost.com had this speaker on sale a couple of months ago for $50. It seems they do put this speaker on sale every few months. I'm pleased with it so far. From what I've found out, this is a European model, and only Frys/Outpost sell it in the US. It appears to be about the same as the CSM...
There is a difference between thread-crapping and telling people that this is a bad deal. With no disrespect to the OP, buying anything made by Bose just isn't a good deal. If you are trying to build a decent spereo or home theater cheaply, I would recommend the Polk Audio deals from outpost.com...
I've got Monitor 30s for fronts (www.tweeter.com for $130), R15s for rears, and one of the 10" subs from Parts Express (www.partsexpress for $130). Then I got a CSi25 from Outpost for a center ($80). Pretty good for just home theater, not as good for music.
Center channel speakers almost NEVER go on sale! I've been waiting for four months and OUTPOST.com finally had a Polk center on sale for $69 about two weeks ago. And it wasn't on sale for long and they are still backordered. (Fry's B&M has them on sale frequently, but no Fry's stores down here...
I just picked up a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 30 speakers for $129 plus tax from www.tweeter.com. The cheapest I've been able to find them is for $199 at Outpost.com (then add shipping) or $199 at Circuit City (then add tax and shipping).
They also have the Monitor 60 speakers for $175 each...
I'm just setting up my own new eMachines box this evening. There sure are a lot of "extra" programs on these boxes! I got rid of most of it by the Add/Remove Programs utility. The Norton Security stuff REALLY was slowing down this machine! Talk about a resource hog.
I also found some spyware...
