whenever i run a game(or some heavy app), a bit further into it, random irregular beeps start coming up which slowly intensifies into continuous regular ones if i keep playin the game and after about a half minute the pc freezes..
the beeps i think are the ones for cpu overheating but my temp...

Baldurs gate 2 shadows of amn seems to be using up 100% of my cpu when run..so a bit into the game I start hearin some random beeps and when I play a little further the beeps turn into a sequence of high freqency beeps...

Most of them flash adds causes my cpu utilization to go as high as 80% or higher and it remains dat high until i close the browser window. Any way around this?

I'm using windows xp pro and panda antivirus 2k5. whenever i enable its auto protection the system as a whole runs slower and when i open the task manager it shows the cpu utilization as 100% for a second or two but returns back to normal after that. This happens everytime task manager is opened...
ye i did...but 2 no avail. Some of them told me to uncheck the read only/hidden options of program files/common files folder but it checks itself later on...
Seems the same problem is there with many other games too...it can b a windows problem.
