I have had nothing but trouble with this board as well. I had to RMA 2 of these boards and my third is already a HUGE issue. All have been defective in one or more ways. The first one I was able to get a replacement in the week I owned it; the second wasn?t so easy. The one I have now, I can?t...
Thank you everyone for all your help. And more importantly, thank you MegaWorks. This thread is a wealth of information for those who are about to delve in.

I tooled around withe the Sapphire X800 Pro Vivo for a while - even had a scare there once when OC the card. Using Gigabyte's I was able to get my 16 pipes right off. Stock fan/cooler and the PE bios, I would get black screens/errors after several minutes of either the...
Yeah, thanks Mega Works. Tell me IYHO, why did you choose Gigabytes over the other mods? I am a little nervous about having the irreversible pipes from what I have read in other posts. One would think that having the 16 vs 12 is a good thing. But if somethign goes wrong, one can't go...

Can you (or anyone for that matter) cross reference your your bios settings with mine?
I have not had as much success as everyone else. As a matter of fact, and quite peculiar, my system gets a hard drive error after updating DMI pool data if I OC the FSB beyond 220. If I play...
