How i deal with Telemarkters

The telemarketers that I talk to don't irritate me nearly as much as picking up the phone after it rings and noone there. Caller ID says "Unknown" just like the telemarketers. Happens 5-6 times a day sometimes. I called the phone company about it. They said the machines call 5 numbers at once...

Thanks, Fellers. It definitely just had 12 pins, had wife, (with better eyes), count em to be sure and none broke off. The monitor is now working just fine now that I've bent em back and hooked it up to the extension. My other 955df had 15 pins, and also the pop-out controls that the new one...

Getting Outlook Xpress to remember password

Hi, I have Win 98se, latest Outlook Express. After my daughter did something to my computer the other day it will no longer remember my password in Outlook Express. I have tried everything I know, refuses to be good. Any advice to get this puppy back on the leash? Thanks.

Anyone use Quik Drives, (RAM drives)?

Hi, I'm thinking that these RAM drives could be a real boost for my audio recording. No more hard drive bottleneck and limited track count. There are ones that run scsi, too. Anyone acquainted with these or similiar drives? Platypus Quik Drives

When are the 10 ghz cpu's gonna be here?

A friend asked me when the 10 ghz. cpu's of legend will show up. Anybody have a prediction? I would like to impress him with my insight even if it is second-hand. :)

Need a program to tell me where the ram is going!

My daughter is just starting her web design business and is looking for a good web host to put her web site up and some of the clients she has. Not too expensive at this point, she's still in tech school and Dad is not a Gates. Around $120 a year. More if neccessary. I did a Google search but...

ATI's revamped driver/software - Catalyst

Could be my cheapy dial-up, too. I have downloaded files up to 25 mb. successfully. The combo might combine to make for u l t r a s l o w . Want DSL or cable but can't pony up the 50 clams a month right now. Too much plastic in pocket, ya know.
