Computer won't POST on cold starts

MSI K8N rebooting!! Help

Whats the BIOS version? I had 1.2 when I was setting up my new rig, and I was getting the same temp readings. I upgraded to BIOS 1.4, and my temps dropped 15c. It rarely goes over 40 now.

Finally finished my first build!

I kept my old ASUS Radeon 9600 XT. It runs great, was having some doubts about the Motherboard after hearing some horror stories about it on this forum, but it runs great. Live update is a definite plus, since I've never flashed BIOS before.

Radeon 9600XT to 9800Pro Upgrade?

I currently own an ASUS Radeon 9600XT, and am just wondering if upgrading to a 9800Pro would make any major difference in performance? I have my 9600XT clocked at core-500 memory-650[DDR]. Would upgrading be just a waste of $?

350W PSU enough for this system?

Thanks for the help man! Just one more question. I would only need to buy an IDE signal cable, a floppy disk signal cable, and a cd-rom signal cable right? I dont use a SATA drive, and I only got 1 hd and 1 cdrom.

Im just wondering if i'd be better off buying an OEM motherboard, instead of a Retail one? I can get the OEM version for half the price of the retail. From what I read, it just comes without the box, cables and all that, is that right?
