I think you can use 1 stick, but you won't get dual channel. I guess I always assumed you needed two sticks, but this post set me straight.

Advantages of SLI/Crossfire board???

I'm not so sure. Note that all of the assumptions below are totally made-up. :) Say Card A costs $300 today and gives me an arbitrary performance value of 100. Card B will cost $300 next year but will give me a performance value of 150. If next year, Card A costs $150 and gives me...

Advantages of SLI/Crossfire board???

I'm in the process of putting together a new PC and I went with SLI and one 7800 GT. Then in the future, instead of upgrading to the latest and greatest video card, I can get another 7800 GT (which will be much cheaper by then) and run SLI. Long term, it's going to be better for me that way.

I took care of my little brother this past school year because he got in a lot of trouble up at mom's house. He used my phone last month, ran up a bunch of minutes and then moved away. Typical crap. Bill was $600 for about 4000 minutes. My plan is $50 for 3000 minutes. T-Mobile has a 5000...

Newegg S&H on multiple item order ?

It's not exactly like that. When you buy multiple items, you aren't charged full S&H. The exceptions are processors and cases, which are shipped by themselves. Their S&H system is kinda funny, but it's not bad.
