They used to play Washington DC every July 4 for free.
600,000+ attended.
Then they stopped (replaced by the Guess Who).
Just a thought: Doesn't a beach "boy" become a beach "bum" when he hits 60?
I noticed the discrepancy between model # and description, as well... after I ordered and posted.
Personally, I will keep them either way.
I will post actual model # following delivery tomorrow afternoon... though I expect these to sell out as they usually do after the AT effect kicks in...
DELIVERED TODAY 05/09/06!
Western Digital WD Caviar SE 7200RPM
Model # WD3000JBRTL
300 GB 8MB 100MB/s
1 Year Standard Warranty
I bought 2 yesterday.
Here's the ORIGINAL link:
Staples WD 300GB SATA for $90
Staples has corrected the link to reflect EIDE in description... this is now...
I bought both bundles last year.... AFTER the tour (in September).
My thoughts for '06:
Desktop bundle is overpriced by $100... Server bundle is a joke.
This is shaping up to be a time share sales pitch for Vista Estates.
I think I'll pass and catch up on my sleep at home this time...
Anyone tell me what the WinXP Server X64 Enterprise Edition included in the bundle is licensed for?
Server only? CALS? Neither?
I haven't built the server yet.. I'd like to know before I install.
Thanks in advance.
Rick
