Sony MZ-N505 Portable MiniDisc Recorder $81.48 shipped

I bought both models so I can answer some of the questions MZ-NE410 is lower end model. It does not have an AC adapter, no line in and recording capapility. Also it doesnt have mega bass. Sound may be little bit less louder than MZ N505. U can transfer songs to the disk using USB cable only...

wireless futility

I am using SMC wireless PC card without any problems on Dell 8100 inspiron without any problems.

Hard drive sometimes not recognized

For some odd reasons the computer is booting ok, so will wait before I try cutting the IDE cable and flashing bios:D

I have maxtor, the intersting thing is the HD wont power up initially. After a couple of shutdowns it works ok

How do you turn of scandisk/chkdsk after a reboot in XP?

This is not true I tried using it once for checking errors. Rt click the C drive >properties>tools>error checking. It will ask u want to do this during next bootup and I said yes. It started doing everytime it booted up. The only way to disable it is to use system restore and go back to the day...

Hard drive sometimes not recognized

When I start my computer running xp pro the hard drive sometimes wont boot up and in the bios it is not recognized. But if I restart, the harddrive starts spinning and it is properly recognized. I changed the power connectors and I still have the same problems. I am using KT133 via AZZA...

XP on a 400mhz Celery, 192 MB RAM...?

I am running xp pro on a laptop 233mhz 224mb and 4.2 gig had, but had to do a clean install . Could not install over win 2k or win98.

workaround for minimum 64mb memory win 2k setup?
