Best graphics evar in a PC game? Upcoming mindblowing graphic engines?

i just switched from an intel based core 2 duo E6750 system running a single bfg 8800gt to an AMD based unlocked 550 BE phenom II and a single visiontek 5770 card. never had anything by AMD or ATI before. will i notice any differecne in say COD Modern warfare or COD 2 play.? i mainly built it...

Motherboard to unlock Phenom II 555BE?

i just used a gigabyte ga-790XTA-UD4 to unlock one this past weekend. ran prime for 8 hours no problems. a quad core for 87 dollars haha. you can't beat that.

dual video cards

don't know if this is the right forum or not but since its about video cards i will ask here first. having trouble deciding which is a better, stability wise, platform for dual card gaming. ATI crossfire or Nvidia SLI. currently running a single BFG 8800gt OC with an intel 2.6 c2d. this...

after reading the comparison review i think i will keep the 8800gt and build that AMD based gaming rig i have been wanting to do. get a mobo with crossfire capabilities and whamo i am swinging the big bat now lol. thanks for your responses guys

Speaker drivers+crossover $29.50+SH per speaker

mine came in the mail last week. can't wait to start this build. this is the second version of the recession buster kit as the first one sold out. a guy on the HT forum reworked the xover from the first version too. he has not posted working reviews yet but by all accounts it should be better...

what to do with broken laptop

you might just need a backlight. shine a flashlight at your screen and if you can see the windows and writing, if you can your backlight is most likely fried. google the model of your laptop and you should find any number of places to buy from. pell technologies is just one that comes to mind...
