Hi all, what is VRM actually? (Sorry, I'm still a newbie) Anyway, I've tried using GPU-Z after I installed Scythe Musashi.. This is the result upon full load: GPU Temp (DISPIO): 50 C GPU Temp (MEMIO) : 72 C GPU Temp (SHADERCORE): 60 C But I thought that it has done a wonder for me...

Hi all, I'm currently using HD 4870 with reference cooling.. But, the temp. are hot like hell, especially the vram temperature.. It is about 93-100 C when full load.. And the core temp is about 73-81 C when full load.. I've set the fan running on 65%, and it just don't give me good...

@TC91: I've tried this, set the fan to 60%, the temperature just drops about 1-2 degree celcius.. @Qbah: Yes, the main problem is that we don't know much about the normal NB temperature on 790GX or 780GX chipset.. But I think 56C is quite high, since my X3 720 BE is only about 32C running at...

@ TC91 : Yes, I'm using 4870 with reference design, but before I use the cards, the lowest temperature of the chipset is around 48-49 deg.. @ Sylvanas : Nice tips, I'd try this soon.. Anyway, does it worth to use any aftermarket chipset cooler, such as thermaright hr 05 ifx?

Hi all, I'm currently using Biostar TA790GX A3+.. I'm facing overheating northbridge temperature, it's about 56C on idle... Did anyone using 790GX board ever have the same problems? Should I use any additional chipset cooler??

Biostar 790GX temperature

Hi all, I'm currently using Biostar TA790GX A3+ and PhenomII X3 720 BE.. I found that at idle, the TMPIN0 shows 60C.. My question is what does this temperature show? I'm currently using Xigmatek Achilles for my processor cooling..

Yeah, it's true, but I live in Indonesia.. 4870 is approximately $190 to $260 4890 is approximately $260 and up to that while 4770 is about $130 So, which one will worth the most?
