the rebate is a big deal, unfortuantely - seems like they were trying to get a rush on sales before xmas, offering a huge rebate, and then just not giving any out unless people came knocking on their door looking for their change.. not a bad plan if you want to be sleazy i suppose i submitted...

anyone else notice on the sites checkout page it has a requirement for phone number but not the zip code..seemed a lil shoddy, it kept telling me my c/c info was incorrect and i went back to see that i put my zip next to the red asterik like i always do but it was labeled Phone Number :P

thanks for the info - not too worried what brand it is, as long as its 27" and its decent quality i'll be happy =] how can you be sure about that anyway? on the bf.net site it says apex, but on AT's BB thread they don't have any 27" tv's??

i am pretty sure that we'll be able to do that - i just called one near me and asked the CS girl, and she said yes, but she wasn't very convincing and i dont know how much faith i'd put behind her word... but at any rate she said yes.. i'm looking at doing the same thing in two different cities...

as far as price matches go, has anyone ever had a problem with doing this @ BB? i would like to get that apex "27 TV for under 100, but i'm going to be out of town on friday so i was going ot pick it up on wednesday and bring it back on friday also, i cant find that model tv on their website...

problem with TV-out

awesome, appreciate it a lot - if i set them to both be primary in that tab, my monitors refresh rate drops to 60mhz -- will that be harmful? its normally set to 85 - but when i do tv as primary and monitor as secondary, the video shows up on the tv but not the monitor, but the refresh rate on...

problem with TV-out

thanks for the help, but i don't know how to change the overlay?? also, it does show some video on the tv - a few of my mpeg movies show up, but the rest of the files don't also, my counter-strike shows up perfectly on the tv

guys i don't know where else to go for some answers, and ppl here are always knowledgable with TV-out on my ati aiw 9600xt, i am usin PS2 or whatever the yellow composite is called it shows up on my tv finally, but some movie files don't work - the place where the picture should be is like...

just picked up an AIW 9600xt off newegg about 3 weeks ago, it and i got the display adapter from ati but for some reason it took over 2 weeks to get it - stupid ati, and they're tracking didn't show up until the day that it arrived - but now i got the card and the display adapter

Radeon 7000 PCI

anyone have experience with a radeon 9600 pro? was looking to pick one up about $95 on newegg now - play mostly CS and BF, i think it should run decently? i'm using radeon 7600 now it runs nicely as it is but i am donating it to my bro's comp - any suggestions/comments?

Updated 10/15 - Western Digital 160GB drive $59.99 after MIR

i picked up the 120gb one from outpost, my transaction date was 7/26 - i still haven't received it, had it shipped to NY evidently via ABX airborne systems, at which i just spent 30 minutes trying to track my package but their website is awful and confusing - any suggestions how i would go about...
