UXGA or SXGA?

Help me spend up to $2300 MAX on a laptop!

got a new ibm. want to reformat...

I have had osme issues installing XP with a key other than the one it came on. I know I had problems doing it betweent he normal pro versions and hte volume lisence versions. IF it's teh exact same version of xp pro it might work, but my guess is the laptop was made with some type of oem...

Let me rephrase. This will not be my main gaming machine. It will be an on the road I'm glad if I can just get the game to load and play it more than anything machine. Will I be totally unhappy with this like I am right now with my 16mb 7500?
