My 2001FP is dead pixel free too. But have to blame on those reviews for directing me to discover a slight light leak:)
Can anybody answer my question here? How do you get your 2001FP work in portrait mode with ATI card. THe rotation function built in Catalyst driver only allows 864x1152...
Get the 2001FP when there is a deal.
Don't worry about grainyness. People claiming seeing it are dipping their nose onto the screen. At that distance you will see it on any LCD. I use 2001FP at home ant Samsung 191T+ at work. I don't see 2001FP showing more grainy than the Samsung. You also get...
A question for those using LCD powered by ATI card.
My desktop resolution is set 1600x1200. But the buildin rotation function of my ATI 9200 only support 8XX x 11XX maxium for portrait mode. I have used the buid-in rotation of Nvidia card before, there's no problem switching to 1200x1600 in...
Same here, mobile 2400 barton on M7NCG 400. Started at 2G(166x12) @ 1.475V. Didn't try much overclocking cause I am using a slim case. Now, it's set to run 166x11 @1.375V. 1.35V is fine too but Iam afraid the Vcore drops below 1.3 (which is the lowest M7ncg400 can do) too often.
It's a great...
Boot from CD, install it on a smaller partition. After installation, enable the full capacity (and set whatever partitions you want) using Windowns Manage program.
Just stopped using this "garbage card" a few weeks ago. I think it's OK for recording video tapes. VCR format is far inferior to what this card can do. I have used it to convert video from an analog camcorder. THe breakin box is handy. But like others said ,better off get a newer AIW, 8500 and up.
Ok, finally it worked! Viper you are right. I reinstalled the drivers on MB's driver CD, 1600x1200x32bit there it is. Almost break down in tears:) But still wondering why the driver from Nvidia doesn't allow this option. Thanks everybody.
Yes, I have installed monitor's driver. Actually I have tried to installed driver for bigger monitors too but seems the IGP is holding the desktop resolution back. Maxium I can get is 1600x1024x32bit. ONce it's set at 1600x1200, it's back to 16bit.
I know Im going be laughed at for that, LOL. Problem is that I am using a slim PC case which only takes low profile card. The best LP card I can find now is 9600SE. I want to wait a little bit and see if some better cards come out. Keen insight though :)
Thanks for help:) No, I thought the driver are all included in the "Unified Drivers" package. Do I need to install it as well to get the full potential of the IGP?
