So if you are using the Claymore miner the "-di" flag determines which GPUs are used. For example, "-di 01" will turn on GPU 0 and GPU1 so just figure out which is which and edit the .bat file to select which GPUs are active. Simply save two files with one that mines on your main card and one...
Not sure that this holds true. 1080 performance at a lower price?

$100 more, much more power consumption...
If you are limited to single slot cards, I think the best option for you at the moment is probably a GTX 1030 which is sufficient for HTPC purposes and some basic gaming.
I remember reading about an INNO3D single slot 1050 Ti being reviewed this May but I don't think those are yet available...
The card has an HDMI 2.0 output which is fine for 4K output at 60 Hz. Your monitor has a 60Hz refresh rate so you will be fine if you use the HDMI port. As the person above mentioned the DVI port is not good for 4K. I sometimes forget which output type supports--the following link may be...
Currently due to the cryptocoin mining craze, AMD cards are going for a large markup. For example, RX 480 4gb cards are all out of stock and selling for $300ish on Ebay. I ended up buying a GTX 1060 recently for $200 after rebate.
I was at Microcenter (a computer parts store) over Memorial...
In terms of the R7 370, the 460W PSU should be sufficient (picked one up dirt cheap for a second computer). The R7 370 consumes ~150W maximum for most cards (75W from PCIE and 75W from a single 6 pin).
Just in case you weren't already aware--Windows 8 keys can be used to directly activate Windows 10 installations. I would recommend downloading an image from microsoft and installing it directly rather than installing 8 and upgrading (easier and cleaner install)...
I picked up a EVGA P2 850W PSU because silent operation is important to me. The fan does not kick on until about 450W. Basically completely silent.

While it theoretically can support Crossfire or SLI (no overclocking)...
Hello! People might be able to give better recommendations if you could let us know your preferred price range.
One laptop I think might fit your requirements would be one of the HP Envy 15 laptops. http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/Laptops/hp-envy---15t-l4r36av-1
The Dell Inspiron 15 series...
The Zenfone has two SIM slots. One is full featured with which you can use data and the other supports only phone/text (no 4G). Both SIMS are in the phone at the same time and I can just select which one I want to use when I dial/text. Basically the UI has two enter buttons that say SIM 1...
For me, I make use of the dual SIMs on the Zenphone to run T-mobile and H2O prepaid (which is AT&T) for 5c/minute or text. Have not yet found any instances in which both T-mobile and AT&T happened to have bad coverage in the same spot.
I'm using a Asus Zenfone 2 at the moment which I am very satisfied with. The $200 version was quite sufficient for my needs. Offers impressive specs for the price if you are looking for a 5.5" phone. Overall, a great phone for the price.
That said, I prefer stock android (used to have a...
Welcome to 2015! But yes, I can see how going from wireless N to AC would seem like magic. Kinda like my parents reaction after I swapped out the HD on their computer with an SSD.
Some H81 boards can overclock too but I think he was interested in the M.2 slots though. There was a thread with a list of boards that have non-Z overclocking that I found useful when building my G3258 build (linked below).

Of course, I agree he should definitely shop around for the best price.
Building seems to have been looking at ASUS mobos for the Z97 and Z87 options so the H97 Asus was just a direct comparison. Still I think the general point holds that H97 boards may fit his needs better.
