Arctic Cooling ATi Silencer 4 Rev. 1 on X800GTO2?

That came from ThermalRight yesterday. Almost has me wishing I'd waited a couple days and gone for the V1. If you've got the room for a cooler, the V1 is definitely a great option for GTOs.

Arctic Cooling ATi Silencer 4 Rev. 1 on X800GTO2?

Snakexor, did you already perform the flash and/or mod for your card? Sounds like we're running the exact same setup, and I'd love to get those kind of specs out of my card once my AS5rev2 arrives in couple days.

what's wrong with the antec p180?

I've got a P180. Pretty much all that's already been said applies. Just a couple more things to add: 1) the door bows outward far too easily, not sure if I can fix that. 2) the shiny metallic surface scratches incredibly easily as well. I've already got a ton of 'lines' on it.

Arctic silencer question

Ordering the AS5 now, thanks guys. On a side note, it looks like Arctic Silver 5 is the grease to have for this type of installation. Anyone have information how to remove the old paste and apply the new?

Arctic silencer question

Running a C3D x800gto with a R423 core. The AS4 works with the R420 series, but the AS5 says it works with 'all' x800s. Should I go with the 4 or the 5?

ThermalRight V1 and X800GTO

Checked the thread twice through, no mention of the X800, much less the GTO. Same deal with the mounting instructions. Good review for the 7800 and potential 80mm fans for it, but not what I was looking for. Thanks anyway. I know that the X800 XL is compatible based on what TR's site for the V1...

ThermalRight V1 and X800GTO

TR's V1 was released earlier this summer with a listing of VGAs it was compatible with, but the GTOs launched just a couple months ago. Anyone know if they work with the V1? SystemCooling's review of the V1.

Video card cooling?

Been looking around for a 80mm fan to install to cool the GPU I'm running. The case manual recommened another TriCool fan, but I'm chocking that up to more advertising on the part of Antec. The thing is, the fan needs to have a low enough height that it won't bump into the card itself... with...

Trying to get the most out of a new rig

Yeah, everything I've read about XBLK (highly recommend TCCD, turns out) comes up as 2.5-3-3-7 so far, mostly in the 250Mhz range. By the same RAM and HTT speeds, are you talking about the divider being equal to the multiplier?

Trying to get the most out of a new rig

Think I'm beginning to get the hang of this. Three more questions: Is there a specific order the timings need to be loosened in if/when Memtest fails? 600Mhz "link speed", what's that refer to? And doesn't the SD run at 12x200 to begin with? Thanks for your continued patience guys.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like I'll be reading up on the terms for awhile yet. Note that I said I'm looking to OC based on what I'm currently running as far as air flow and heatsink goes. I'm not looking for the world's most extreme OC, and I don't feel like gutting the heatsink and paste...

Trying to get the most out of a new rig

Just got the rig in my sig last week. This will be the first time I've attempted an OC, and I'm wondering what a good recommendation would be based on the cooling system I've got running. I did read Zebo's OC guide, but most of the terms are above my knowledge level. Anyone have a few tips?
