Deleting the devices did not help :( I will pick up another drive, hopefully tonight, and try that out!

I will try removing the devices when I get home tonight. As for the possible IDE issue, the drives are SATA and I have tried them with different cables and bus locations. :( Thanks for for the assistance, I hope to be able to post a resolution soon as this is driving me crazy! :confused:

Nope, I was wrong. With the "plug and play" service disabled, I will see the "original disc in the drive, if I eject it the drive shows empty and if I put another disc in it it still only shows the original disc again not the second disc. once again the disc's primary directory is there if I...

Ok, about 70 restarts later... I have found the one service that affects the drive issue. It is the plug and play service. My computer is running so slow with it turned off. It takes a couple of minutes just to refresh the "my computer" screen. What can I do, it is obvious that I need that...

I just noticed that my computer only sees whatever disc was in at start-up or the first disc I put into the drive. I was trying to install a multi-disc game when I noticed this and it kept telling me to insert disc 2 even though disc 2 was in the drive already. I am not really sure how long it...

9600xt with latest catalyst loosing screen adjustment...

I have the ATI version of the 9800XT with the latest Catalyst and have not had any problems, try uninstalling then the removal tool here, if you have access to another non-ati card put that in without loading the drivers for it. After rebooting after each step, even if not asked to (gotta love...

Small LCD monitor wanted, any suggestions?

I do not mind low resolution, as long as the display is not "unnecessarily distorted". Something like the one here, the bottom pics, not the screen shot. Hope that explains it better!

Yes, that is a consideration, but I was hoping to run it directly from a PCI video card, and in the past I have used converters and the TV outs of video cards. They seemed blurry to me. I will keep that in mind though. I was looking at this one with extreme modding for the unit and my case...
