Convert java programs into executables?

I am learning how to program in java and i was wondering if there was a way to convert the .java source file into an executable that i could run without having to open the DOS prompt like normal. Thanks

fan connectors

thats pretty much what i do becaus i dont have enough connectors so i just stick the wires wherever i can. but be careful, in my experience, depending on where i have some of the wires connected, i get some drive failures and my computer just stops and i have to manually restart. so i just...

Repair Windows 2k Installation?

I have 2 drives, one with Win2k and a FEW programs, and then the other with all my main programs, mp3's and other stuff....the problem is i have been getting a lot of errors lately and i want to repair my windows installation, if i do this, will i loose any of the programs on the same drive as...

Invalid Boot.ini

well im just full of problems.....i realized you said "dos prompt" and i tried typing what you said into the start>run dialogue box....so i searched for dos and i cant find my thing to bring up a dosprompt.....i dont know much about do either....just enough to get around in folders and...

also, i went to folder options and then the view tab and i turned on the view hidden and system files and i still cant find boot.ini......i dont think i said this before and i dont know if it matters....but im using win2k.

i pasted what you put in there and i got an error that says "cannot find file 'c:edit(or one of its components). Make sure that the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available" im really sorry if im being stupid here but i just dont know anything about...

alright i wasnt sure exaclty what topic to put this under since i dont know exactly what kind of problem this is but today i was thinking about flashing my bios so i got my boot disk and everything out and booted with it, it went on to load the drivers and all that but instead of booting to DOS...

P2, P3 motherboards.

check the mobo manual or website....in my experience, some support both and some dont....mine does. :)
