Best parts for a low-power Linux system?

Syntax Olevia 30" too low-res for PC use?

It'll mostly be used as a PC monitor, so just a few feet. 3 - 4... But the idea of it taking up most of my field of vision is part of the attraction. Sort of a poor man's VR.

Syntax Olevia 30" too low-res for PC use?

So I'm looking at possibly buying the Syntax Olevia 30-inch LCD TV, as reviewed here: http://www.anandtech.com/displays/showdoc.aspx?i=2099 But I did the math and since the display is so big and is just 1280 x 768, it only has about 50 pixels per inch. Wouldn't that make individual pixels...
