I got over "I gotta be hard core" around the time that I stopped wearing blue jean jackets with patches on them and decided that, no, Gung-Ho, you are going to listen to something else besides Anthrax, Metallica, and Slayer when you grow up.

I like that it is small like the griffon. I also like that it has a glide animation, which the griffon mount never seemed to do, even though the taxi griffon did. The fire head/wing trails are a little much after awhile. I definitely like it more than the transparent pegasus.

Any good D&D style RPG's?

And, nevertheless, NWN2 has some pretty good mod content. You can get a good year or two out of the game if you really wanted to. I also second the Drakensang series, which is also built off of table-top system, though it's a bit different than D&D. Fallout 1 & 2, and to a lesser extent...

You're welcome to walk around in Hellfire and toodle around if you'd like. Personally, I fly through that hideous crap as fast as I can. Hell, I even angle the camera upwards and turn on autopilot so I don't have to look at it. I'll take the occasional humiliation of being beaten by an angry...

COD:MW3 info leaked

It really is a gussied-up GI Joe. I liked GI Joe, and still look at it with a certain nostalgic fondness... hell, look at my handle/avatar. That doesn't change that I would not be surprised in the least if ninjas or swamp people with Australian accents showed up and started wrecking the place.
