If I could find a 20WMGX2 for less than 500 I am pretty sure I would get one! Use my 215TW as backup or another desk in the future. I have not used dual-monitors since the CRT days.....don't have a need anymore. I forgot to add that the reason they are so cheap on Overstock is because they...

Check it out guys: http://www.overstock.com/Elect...i_sku=11146026-000-000 215TW going for $289.99 at overstock.com : ) Grab the legendary monitor while you can! Boy does this get me a little peeved. I got my Samsung 215TW for $400 I believe; with the great help of this thread and...

I was considering the dell too. The samsung seemed more worth it especially seeing as you know what you are purchasing. I got my 215TW from tigerdirect and it was here lickety-split. I know tigerdirect is pretty skimpy on support/service there are whole websites dedicated to that : ( But I...

So I am sitting in front of my brand new samsung 215TW right now! Input lag was noticeable right from the get-go. It's as if my mouse was floating, of course I had been using a CRT for the past two days. Playing around with the pointer speeds in the windows control panel fixed a lot of it...

Good rant starcycle. I would say it's just good business for these company's. People started to buy TN because of response times, economics worked it's magic having the prices go down and then there was the huge demand. With the demand I am sure came the terrible panel lottery situation, I...

This monitor is the true upgrade then, I understand. Sure is a lot of money though. Nice assumption with the photo editing, xtknight but my main use with my would be internet/gaming. I read a crap-ton into the slower response, yeah your right. The one frame is not a big deal. Most of the...

Well as of now it's a toss-up between the two. The input lag/lag reports sound annoying for a $430 price tag, even youtube videos display lag on the 215TW next to the W2207! What a coincidence. Do the two monitors just not even compare? And I should get the 215TW? The price is just so...

No problem, I just did not know how things ran here. Hell I would donate to the cause in this thread. :D Gladly; Saturn Maybe these digital pictures might help: Image One Image Two Image Three Image Four What I meant to say here is that any kind of color editing, or anything if...

Chimei eh? While yes I have been pretty reasonably happy with my monitor it has definitely scared the ever living crap out of me in terms of buying a TN panel again. I mean to justify a new monitor I really want something to out-perform what I have now. Am I still going to see the same...

I am trying to pick out a new LCD monitor. I tried asking the bit-tech.net forums, I tried using the guides at behardware, prad, tft central, x-bit and of course here. I currently own a BenQ FP222W and I was pretty happy. Every now and then I saw some washed out colors in usually SVG...

Well a lot has happened in the last 12 hours or so... I have pretty much decided that I am going to do a hard drive upgrade soon using Vista as the excuse : ) I am going to go for a raptor drive and then keep the 80 gig in there to replace the role of the samsung that is giving me my vista...

Yes. The HD is detected fine in the BIOS every time I have it plugged it. ANd to add. If I boot off the WinXP disc, Gparted, or anything like that and the HD is connected everything is fine and dandy.
