computer won't POST

Not getting any beeps, and the caps on the mobo look okay, so I guess I'll look into a new PSU...

computer won't POST

I have a computer that as of this morning refuses to POST. All fans power up normally, but there is absolutely no video signal at any time. This morning the computer was recycling itself constantly, powering up to the POST screen, quickly shutting itself off, restarting, showing POST screen...

Laptop won't start

Ok so I have now replaced the CMOS battery, replaced the BIOS chip, replaced the CPU, and moved the RAM sticks around, still nothing ever comes up on screen.

Laptop won't start

Thanks for the replies. I opened up the laptop and for some reason the CMOS battery wasn't there! I have an old one which is only putting out about 1.2 volts out of 3 which I put in but still nothing on the screen. Still, though, I thought that without CMOS I would still see a POST screen right...

Laptop won't start

Hey guys, I have a Uniwill 258ka5 laptop. Recently it hasn't been starting at all. When I press the power button the lights light up and the fans spin up normally but nothing appears on the screen. I then tried hooking up the laptop to a separate monitor but nothing ever appeared there either...

Someone hacked into my email

It appears someone gained access to my Gmail account and used it to steal my WoW account. I was unable to login to my Gmail account the other day using my email address and password. When I tried to reset the password, the security question was in Chinese characters (which I translated online...

Yep it has pockets in there, but they are sealed off by this stupid seam. Weird thing is I always get jeans from AE and they never come like this.

So my brand new American Eagle jeans have the front pockets sewn shut. Why the f would they do this. Can I just cut the threads to open the pockets? I've always bought jeans from AE and they were never like this. Anyone else's AE jeans come with the pockets sewn closed?
