No, to be honest I have not. I did have a Gateway in the house but read (way too many) reviews after being disapointed by the Gateway and made the decision to buy a 3007. For all I know the 3008 is better now, but the reviews basically complained about the input lag and the price.
that monitor is horrible. I had it for a couple months and sold it. The power bricks are known to fail and the lag is the worst I have ever seen. Also the scaling is no substitute for native res. I have 3 5850s on a dell 3007wfp hc and I play crysis T 90 fps.
Will Eyefinity work if you have one 30 inch display and 2 20 inch displays on the sides of it rotated vertically? I don't see this particular configuration in their documents.
It's an interesting idea, but how would you power it? I think you can not do 6 GPU's as SlowSpyder says. What I am going to try however is one 5970 and 2 5850's.
I have 2x 5850's OC'ed on water at 900/1175. I game at 2560x1600 fwiw and there is nothing they can't handle, even crysis. I'm still getting a third card tho :P
