Hi I downloaded the Backtrack disk and it works great until you get to the logon screen,everyone says that its either root or toor,but after you enter this it then asks for a password but no matter which key you press it doesn't come up on the screen,then you get a timed out message or if you...

Networked USB storage device on 2 different networks?

get hamachi or open two accounts om MSN Messenger and setup two sharing folders and be done with all this,routers,network cards,usb drives,lol

DHCP Problem

Yes mate spot on,thanx.If the technical service at NTL answered the phone occassionally.The only thing you ever get thro' to is that stupid message telling you how much the call will cost from a BT landline,not that I have a BT landline.Anyways thanks alot for the help,nice one.

RUN has ran away

Yeah really wierd but I rebooted my puter and noticed the RUN function was no longer in the start menu,have had a look for it but can't find it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Am running WinXP SP2. TIA

what program can i use to cut down the size of mp3, or turn down the quality to make it smaller

yeah use windows media player(wma) that allows 64 bit instead of 128 like in mp3

PC choking on my IDE bus?

I used the Intel fix and now can hear every click the hdd makes and believe you me its a bit of a shock when you first hear it.
