What the difference between Registered and un-Registered memory? Is ECC memory faster or non-ECC memory? Thx.

SCSI Hard Drives

Yep, I got the Ceetah 15K.3 drive. It will be nice if I can get the right controller and start messing with it. :D I guess I will do fine on 865PE/875P motherboards then. Is the LSI Logic Ultra160 controller right or should I be looking at something else?] Please lemme know. Thx. :D

I have both a 865PE and 875P chipset motherboards. And the drive is a 68-pin drive. Is the SCSI controller that is linked above will work fine? Please help. What is a PCI-X motherboard?

Question For Those With 2500+ Bartons Runnin@3200+

Hi JAAG, I can't confirm if I have PCI/AGP lock on the motherboard or not. I don't see any PCI settings but I have been told that nForce 2 Ultra 400 Boards automatically lock it so even if you wanted to change the PCI frequency, you couldn't. All I can change is the AGP frequency. I can set...

I see. I have a GA-7N400 Peo 2 motherboard and I can't push it above 184Mhz FSB. I don't think it has a PCI/AGP lock. Would it be alright for me to increase the multiplier of my 2500+ Barton from 11 to 12.5 and increase the FSB to 184Mhz and overclock it that way. Would it work?
