HD-DVD on a 1080i LCD HDTV?

Do we think they will be $100 again anytime soon? I can always buy on craigslist or something.

HD-DVD on a 1080i LCD HDTV?

So is blu-ray better? Should I go with a Toshiba HD DVD player for $100? Will it play regular dvd's as well? I hate the battle with bu-ray and hd-dvd though....it drives me nuts!

So my current dvd player is a Sony 1080i up-convert......are you telling me that this doesnt matter and it still throws it to the tv at 480p widescreen?

HD-DVD on a 1080i LCD HDTV?

So I have a Panasonic 50" WS 1080i with HDMI. It is a fantastic tv. Simple question, will adding an HD-DVD player or Blu-Ray player to the mix improve the picture of movies (playing in the respective format) or is this only beneficial with a 1080p hdtv?

Hard Drive + Magnet = Disaster?

Everything is ok now. Something happened in the BIOS and the HD was not showing up.....funny!

Hard Drive + Magnet = Disaster?

So my neighbor brought me over a laptop that he needed fixed. He told me his mother came over and put a huge magnet right on top of it and since then, he gets a "Cannot find OS" upon bootup. I dont know much about what magnets do, but do they just erase all the "files" on a HD or completely...

Blockbuster Online users - Anyone else lose their free in-store coupons?

See this is where the "pretty sure" needs to be definite. If you did upgrade/downgrade your account either right before or after the switch, then yes, there are new plans. Until my account switches, I dont believe that they are switching.
