Looking for WUXGA Monitor

I'm looking for a decent 1920×1200 monitor, about $500 or less. HDCP compliant, used for gaming. I have my eyes on the Dell U2410 but would like to look at other options, or to hear the pros and cons from U2410 owners. I'm also interested in a smaller dot pitch, .27 is fine, but I prefer...

Intel says flaw in Series 6 Sandy Bridge chipsets

Crappy news :| Since it only affects the 3Gb ports, I might be able to get by using just the 6Gb ports and the marvell ports if I have to. Would rather not go through the hassle of a recall now that I have a new system up and running.

Well it was supposed to be the 1204 BIOS that fixes double POST, so not sure what's going on there. Yeah on mine it only shows those two fans also.. :\

What Memory to get?

Memory speed makes a slight difference compared to CPU and GPU. Memory is relatively inexpensive now, I'd just get the 1600 at least. Check the Qualified Vendor list in your ASUS manual if you don't want to take any chances. I got this for mine, not on the QVL but don't have any issues...

P8P67 PRO issues?

The dual boot issue is fixed in the latest BIOS release. You can control the fans to some degree in the ASUS AI Suite software (Fan Xpert)

I was just informing ASUS, and others who might run into the same problem, that the 512 allocation on HDDs is causing problems with the board, and I originally thought it was an SSD problem, but I found out it has nothing to do with the SSD. Whether 512 allocation is a good idea or not is...

Do you have an older SATA HDD to use for testing? Are you able to install windows from DVD? They had the 1253 bios linked for a short time here: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2136820 but they took it off when they released 1204. Might as well wait for the next BIOS update since...
