Thanks for the post. There was a free $2 towards amazon mp3's yesterday that expires today so I used it on this. I grew up watching all those old Arnie movies as well. I'll have to play the song "The Orgy" from Conan at work.
I think the game play is really good, especially on the large conquest maps like Firestorm and Kharg. I'll admit that initially the game is almost a sensory overload with so many contrast colors and lit up HUD indicators but now that I have played 40 hours I am used to it.
I'm looking forward...
Interesting. I'm at $500 now so after OS I would be done for about $950. Any tips on where to get Windows 7 at a good price? My friend is a student and has a student #. Which version of Windows 7 is "good enough?" Thanks!
Hi Guys,
Thanks for taking a look at this. I've pulled the trigger on most of my parts but still need to decide on the motherboard and graphics card.
I have already ordered or received:
i5 2500k $205
Kingston SSDNow V100 Series SV100S2/64GZ 2.5" 64GB SATA II $65 after rebate
SAMSUNG...

Is the 560 TI significantly better than the 460 GTX? If it is much better it would probably be worth the extra ~$40 or so.
Would an ATI/AMD card work smoothly with an intel z68 chipset and intel 2500k pcu?
My only preference for Nvidia is that is what I have always used and I once lost a ton of money on AMD stock options.
Hi guys. I'm slowly buying components for a BF3 rig ~$1000.
I will be using a 2500k Sandybridge with a z68 chipset board. I will have SSD for the OS and programs.
This is the power supply I have bought:
