every single one. I've tried going through the sleep/standby/hibernate options as well as the power options in control panel, and looked at the WLAN in device manager. Have I possibly missed something?

I am afraid not. I know lesser Logitech models do... the volume controller has a sub volume level, and i have it turned the WHOLE way down. The sub is still too dominant...haha

Bad economy = Eating stray cats + dogs for food

A lot more than the ecomony would have to go south before no one would complain, and even then there will be some people who would rather die than eat pet animals... Those people are beyond me. I think that if it came down to absolute survival of the human race, it would happen.

An idea about Projectors and Sunlight

That is exactly what I mean, and my conceptual use would be to channel that light into a projector for an easily visible outdoor projection.

does driving slower really save you money?

Same here. Saves on my brakes dramatically I've noticed. I think that the mpg you get makes a bigger difference than the commute time. If you drive a 30 min commute with a 12mpg beast, then I think it would be in your best interest to let off the gas. But, like the OP said, if you make more...

From Macbook to Dell Latitude D630 - my head hurts . . .

Dies when i let my foot off the gas

I took a 450 mile trip yesterday, and arrived safely to my destination. But, my problem lies with what seems to be the idle speed. Ok, here's the deal. I checked the oil b4 the trip, and it didn't show on the dipstick. I didn't have access to oil at the time, so i got 150 miles b4 i stopped...
