so i just finished putting together and installing everything for my new build, seems to be running pretty good
but now randomly the computer will lock up and freeze... the image will remain on the monitor and a steady beep or shriek will come from the speakers... any ideas ?

so i am trying to install ubuntu on my new laptop and i get the following error after clicking the install option

i have always loved the quality...
the computer HAD worked great for over a year , and then we lost for afew days, and when the power returned the problem started.
so im alittle unsure which piece of hardware is causing the problem.

- updating my motherboard bios (did not work)
- it restarted on both windows and linux installations
does this sound like a problem with my motherboard ? powersupply ? or possibly something else...
