USB 3.0 connection problem

Thanks for the reply. Just ordered the adapter for 3.0 19 pin to the 9 pin USB connection on the MOBO. $4.86 includes shipping.

USB 3.0 connection problem

I have a DP67BG motherboard and just purchased a Corsair Vengeance C70 case so I can use liquid cooling. The case has a female 20 pin connector for the two USB 3.0 connectors on the front of the case, while the motherboard has two 4 pin USB 3.0 connectors. Does anyone know what adapter I need...

Just ran the game again with the Task Manager open and the game in Windows mode. The processor usage never went above 26%, but the temp quickly went to 59c, and then got the Asus warning that temp had reached 60.5c, and the game "black screened" to the task bar. This happened a few times...

Not really sure if this belongs in this thread, but I'll try it. I played MS Flight Simulator X for a few minutes this morning for the first time since mounting the Arctic Cooler, and bang- thermal shutdown of the program. This is much worse than with the stock Intel cooler. So I ran it again...

Well, I bought the Arctic Cooling freezer 7 from Newegg and it arrived this afternoon. I've got it in and was happy to see that my CPU temp dropped ~11 degrees. Plenty of room on the mobo since it's footprint is very much the same as the Intel OE. There is a difference in height however, so...

Settings in RealTemp

I am running RealTemp with the default settings, so the TJ Max is set at 99, which I understand is the TJ Max for my I5, 760. The idle calibration is at 0.0, also the default. I don't really understand how to calibrate RealTemp, and wonder if it's really necessary to do so. My idle temps are...

Yeah-- see my 3d paragraph. Don't know why it didn't boot with just one stick in A1. I swapped both sticks too. Well, I'll do the install and set up the BIOS first, then worry about that.
