Aggregate HD speeds capped at 150MB/s?

Make sure your BIOS settings are set correctly. Also, what motherboard/chipset do you have? There were some Marvell controllers released a few years ago that weren't so good. I have a P55 motherboard with a Marvell SATA3 controller and I had to mess with the BIOS settings to get over the 150MB/s...

I've been eyeing this drive myself. I'm not sure if it will ever come back in stock. From what I read, they have have been phasing this model out for the new 840 models. It's practically out of stock everywhere.

Cheap places to live around Menlo Park and/or Fremont?

Going off of GasBuddy: SJ Avg: $4.15 / Colorado Avg: $3.85. I wouldn't call that sky rocket higher. What insurance company are you with? Maybe theirs is much higher in CA. I seem to remember my premiums weren't that much different between CA, CO and WA. Do some googling on the schools. I found...

I feel 75% is a little high. Maybe 20% more than Colorado. I know my salary is around 20-30% higher than what it would be in Colorado. I think the major factors are housing and taxes. Other than that, things aren't too much more expensive than other places.

evga remanufactured rma stock... had problems?

I had the same issue on a 7900gt a while back. I RMAed a card since it was showing artifacts. I got a manufactured card back and the fan was noticeably louder and running the card at stock speeds would artifact. Oddly enough, if I run the core and memory clock 5Mhz slower, it is ok. I just...

How did you find a short term job and/or career after colllege?

I did not apply for jobs until after college. Big mistake. It took me a year to find a job/career. In the meantime, I found a job as a EE technician on craigslist. It paid comparably well and I was able to use my EE knowledge for the job. I found my current job by just sending my resume everywhere.

Yea, it was up today. There wasn't much news today. The asian market usually follows the U.S. market. The U.S. was up on Thursday, so Asia was up in their next trading session.

I use it. No complaints. I do not get the free trades, but I get $5/trade since I have a premier banking account. I'm guessing you will know you are not getting charged by looking at the commission fee in your account history?
