CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX 620W

Would this thing run a e6600 overclocked to 3.6 and two 8800gtx cards with no problems? Also two hard drives, dvd drive, and a few fans. I really want to go with corsair seeing as it has a 5 year warranty and is well priced.

Voltage reader

Is there any program out there that can read the voltage that your ram is running at? My bios doesn't tell me and my particular ram lists the voltage as 1.8 to 2.0. Would like to know exactly what its running at so I don't over do it with my voltage increase to overclock. Thanks for any info

Power Supplys effect gaming performance

Ok, I dont if its just my imagination or what, but after rearranging my power cords in my pc tower, I find that I get less stuttering, smoother gameplay, while playing very high graphic games(with 16xAA etc). Also, my hard drives and windows seems even quicker then before. Dont get me wrong...

Anything to worry about

I have my e6600 overclocked to 3.4gigs 8x425. I can run it at 3.6gig on 450fsb or 9x400 but orthos fails during testing. Anyways, 3.4 works for me. Only thing Im concerned about is temps. Idle its 30c but when using orthos stress test, it runs between 54 to 57c. Does this mean that when...

Wont load page

What Timings

No, I read a few reviews of it comparing it to other drives such as the atlas II and ratpro 36.6. The X is only slightly faster then the rest. Scsi does surpass it in a few benchmarks though.

No difference eh? I figured just as much. Wonder whats up with the 401 as opposed to 400. How could that possible make the system more stable at 4-4-4-12? As for the hard drive, many people told me its just not worth it to get SCSI and that the latest raptor X drive is just as fast if not...

What Timings

I can run my system stable at 5-4-4-8 ram timings. The ram runs at 4-4-4-10 in windows just fine but Prime95 gives me errors an hour into stress testing. With it at 5-4-4-8 I get no errors. My question, is it best to run it at 5-4-4-8 or better at 5-5-5-15? Not sure ifs its better to have...

I thought I needed a 320 scsi controller in order to use the 320 maxtor 15k II drive? As for a link, I cant seem to find it now but I just did a bencmark of my current raptor drive and got 57mb/sec compared to 97mb/sec with the 15k IIaccroding to the storage review site. Still a nice...

On the storagereview site they say that the 15k II maxtor drives transfer twice the amount of data per second then my current raptor drive. If this is infact true, dont you think Id notice a huge difference when compressing videos, unraring, game loading?

Im looking for the fastest 36gig SCSI hard drive there is. I dont want anything larger in size than that seeing as there quite expensive drives. Will just use my 120gig sata2 for storage. Also, whats the cheapest scsi adapter card that wont hinder the drives performance? I am new to SCSI so...
