Weird Pop-Up ads

I keep getting this odd pop up ads that appear in the middle of my screen even when my system is idle and IE isnt open. They say to download programs called DESTROYADS and ELIMINADS, etc. There is a command button "OK" at the bottom of the ad, and links to websites to download this crap at...

3dfx Tools with winXP.

i ended up finding some drivers that worked. the ones i got from CAirey did just fine. thanks for the help.

belkin F1U400 and linux

I have a belkin F1U400 4 port USB switch. I have using it to switch my mouse and keyboard between a Windows machine and a linux machine. Only problem is, it doesnt seem to want to switch to the linux machine. Theoretically, its just re-routing the USB cables, and linux is plug and play enough...

Computer just Died, need help to diagnostic the problem

what kind of ram are you using. i believe that mobo is a 266mhz fsb right? you have to set some jumpers on the mobo b/c the duron only runs at 133 i belive. i had that problem on my old duron rig a while back.

delete please

set your boot sequence to cd-rom, SATA, floppy, other. boot from your xp cd, hit f6 and wait for it to finish loading windows setup. a screen will come up and you can install the SATA controller card from a floppy. once you do that, you're on your way. thats how i did mine, and had no problems.

no they are not on. not matter what system it is hooked up to, it does this. its gotta be overheating, or there is a faulty part.
