I wouldn’t say tiny, but smaller. There’s been some promising research in this area that might let them keep it bigger.

- what is the back side? Backside is the side opposite the metal layers when looking at a vertical cross-section. Front side has the metal layers and is traditionally where the pads are. - why not call it motherboard side and heatsink side? Because you can have flip chip and non flip chip...

For density, moving the power routing to the backside helps because when you have front side power delivery, you have both power and logic being routed to basically the same place with roughly the same path to get there so there ends up being a lot of congestion and you have to spread things out...

With Intel’s method, you still need room for the contact in the horizontal so density goes down. You get an electrical benefit but Intel found it not to be worth the density impact. You can still use it in the SRAM array for the control logic and such, just not in the bitcells.

Intel showed increased SRAM density with their BSPDN, you just have to not use it in the bit cell. TSMC’s BSPDN is more advanced and has a good chance of allowing bit cell density improvements as well.

Question Intel's future after Pat Gelsinger

Intel is notorious for having managers for managers managing managers. Worse yet, I’ve heard from multiple former employees that most of that middle management is very light on technical skills/experience.

NV stopped making the 4000 series cards with the 5000 series launching so there's very little, if any, stock remaining for 4000 series cards and what is left is priced crazy high from resellers. Unfortunately, they also had an issue ramping the 5000 series cards so there isn't good supply for...

AMD CPUs work fine with NV GPUs, nothing to worry about there. In general, AMD CPUs are clearly superior to Intel CPUs, though there are some edge cases where Intel does pretty well. What kind of development do you do?
