P4 & Asus p4s8x & Windows XP - Random restarts and minidumps

Power Supply is my first thing i think that might do this. My case came with a 350w and i know it wont be enuf for a Pentium 4 cause i have the Same motherboard but i say upgrade the PS ..to a 400w one

Win2k - I have 2 paging files

Well i guess for some people it works but some it doesnt i personally am not gonna combine one pagefile when u dual boot 2k and Xp just becuase i dont need 2k pagefile info in XP pagefile info ...but i guess if u did a clear pagefile on shutdown u wouldnt really run into problems...im just...

Win2k - I have 2 paging files

Well from reading magizines (i.e) Maximum PC and goin threw other forums i have found out that people run into problems if you try to combine the page file of 2 OS's ...especially a NT based and a 98 based OS. The two are totally different kernel bases. I would stick with 2 seperated pagefiles...

where do i put my pagefile in XP pro

Well even if you fixate the Pagefile on the same drive it still wouldnt fragment so is it pointless to put the page file on a different drive when u can just put the same max/min size and not worry about it? Ive wondered this as well cause my pagefile is 1024 MB and i have 384 MB of ram so that...

Dual Booting Windows XP and 98

ur kiddin!! so either way i have to reformat...cause my C is NTFS..i didnt know until now i was gonna dual boot... is there anyway to change NTFS back to FAT32...or is my only alternative Windows 2000

Windows XP and Windows 98 Dual booting

I was goin to attept to dual boot these two OS's but a friend of mine told me that u have to have Windows 98 installed first...the dilemma is that Windows XP professional is on there...so that would put 98 second. If theres a way to do this please let me know...if i cant do it will 2000 work...

Exactly!!! thats the one and the one that says thetype of font... ClearType or Standard...i cant Change the first one either it says use transition effects What gives? Is there a registry hack or am i stuck in this mode.
