What FSB is it running on? Set it to 134 in the bios. It should give you approx. 1407 Mhz with GOOD cooling! :-)
But it depends on your RAM and the Graphics-card. If RAM and graphic-card can't cope with the bus speed the set it to 133.
Actually I think that Win 2K sucks @ss at gaming and everything related to 3D-graphics. Try the same card in a Win 98 or /SE box and see whats happening!

Try underclocking the sh!t. I did that with a 1 Ghz system, and it worked perfectly. The FSB down to 100 Mhz and the proc. to about 900 or 950 Mhz.
Try it. It worked okay for me!

I have read an article on this site (anandtech.com) about a mobo called MSI-694D. This mobo supports 2 x 933 Mhz P3 socket 307. But does anybody know the mobo, and will it work with Pentium III EB 933 Mhz FC-PGA (or 1000 Mhz?)?

What is the exact difference of the Socket 370 and the FC-PGA-socket? And what is the difference between Pentium III E and the EB and the "pure" Pentium III?
Try to underclock the beast. Underclock the CPU/DRAM-bus to 90 Mhz instead, and see if it works. If it doesn't try an older BIOS. For example the 1003 or the good (in my opinion) 1002.
