CPU temp, To high?

Did you use Arctic Silver or stock grease ? Did you remove wax on bottom of CPU ? I bought retail 2100XP for one PC and it came with wax on bottom. I bought OEM 2100XP for another PC and it had NO wax. Bob

How do most clean their PC's?

Compressed Air. Actually, my current case has not had to be cleaned in two years. My intake vents are under the case which is sitting on casters (basement floor). I think it is far enough away from the dust so that nothing comes in. Positive pressure fan setups should virtually eliminate dust...

Spacers?? Are they really required?

I've had to use those spacers, I think in pre-ATX mobos, because there weren't stand off screw. I don't know why they continue to ship both, unless as a courtesy, if your case isn't fully ATX compliant. I also have used them as a little extra support behind PCI slots, so that the mobo won't...

Now you ARE scaring the bejeesus out of me! :Q How can I start from 12 and bring it down to 5? or 7? :confused: BTW, I forgot to mention that I have an old 10gb IBM SCSI-III drive in there which I am about to retire. It is by far the loudest component and I can't wait to get rid of it! :D
