@Jediyoda I agree with you that the reviewer probably did not change anything in the bios. For some tests. That said how did they overclock the an X6800 cpu by 1ghz+ without disabling speed step and other throttling settings? Anyone who has disabled these settings sees a much higher CPU temp...

@Jediyoda The reviewer of the product does not state what they did in the bios. I see no problem asking for this informaiton. What I said stands, the bios settings significantly affect the core temps under load and since quad cores put out a great deal more heat than dual core cpus it there...

tuniq tower bent?

I am not running vista. The MB supports a quad cpu fine, it suffers from the same problem all other 975 and 680i boards have with the quad cpu regarding the fsb. I got mine up to 305 mhz and then it became unstable. I had a similar missing driver, I loaded the marvel driver from the asus cd...

tuniq tower bent?

Hi, I recently purchased a tuniq t-120 tower from newegg. Mounting it the copper plate is flush to the cpu, but the tower portion of where the fan/cooling fins are appears to be bent, like the heat pipes on 1 side are longer than the heat pipes on the other side of the tower. Is this normal...

Intel D975XBX2 SATA HDD Recognized as DVDs???

Hi backwardsman, I figured out that the intel desktop utilities was freezing because it did not like the fact that I had set up a raid on the marvel controller without setting the sata drive option in the bios to raid, it had it set to ide. So IDU could not figure out what that "drive" was...

The Super Pi Mod Score Database

I cant seem to get superpi 1.5 to run on my system, I made sure there were no files other than the superpi program and help file in the folder. I run it and after the third step, I get the windows has encountered a problem issue. Any suggestions?
