What are good temps for a Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz ?

Sorry, had a file sharing program, with AIM running in the background. Now its at 41c at close to idle (since i still have my antivirus and antispyware running). is this ok? What's an ideal temp? And whats too hot?

FYI - I'm getting about 50c on both cores according to both of the apps you mentioned. Is this normal?

New hard drive - but also want to keep old hd

I got a new 500gb IDE Seagate hd (not SATA). But I also want to keep my old 160gb seagate hd (also not SATA). My old 160gb HD has Win XP on it already. So whats the process? I plan on just hooking up my new 500gb HD - and install XP on it. Then hook up the 160 as a slave - but is that...

HELP - I have only one IDE connector!

I'm not using all my PCI slots. So you're saying that with the peripheral you mentioned, I connect that into my PCI slot, which has and IDE connector interface, basically giving me an additional IDE slot? If thats the case - thats sooo cool!

DDR2 RAM Installation

Im installing Corsair DDR2 Twin 2X memory pair. And on my mobo I have Channel A, DIMM 0 Channel A, DIMM 1 Channel B, DIMM 0 Channel B, DIMM 1 Should I install one on Channel A and one on Channel B? Or use both Channel A? Does it matter? Please advise.
