Vista isn't that bad from my impressions of it so far. XP has DRM so does Vista but it isn't as locked up as you might think. Overall I think they are doing ok however I am skeptical of the minimum operating requirements. Vista is going to take a good 512mb of ram 1gig at least IMO to run well...
