Soyo Dragon+ or nForce?

Which of these would you get: Asus A7V266-E, Epox 8KHA+, or the Abit KR7A-RAID?

I am currently using an ABIT 815SE. Quality product excellent documentation, all drivers on CDROM. I was looking at the A7V266-E but decided to get the Soyo Dragon + instead. It should be arriving any day now. I'm guessing all are quality product.

PC CHIPS motherboards

I'm using a PC Chips 810 LMR. Had it for several months, never a problem. A friend at work recommended it to me after using several of their products. A low cost quality product but not for overclockers or hobbiests (not particularly upgradeable).

XP1600+ power supply? is 250 enough?

For a basic computer that will be functional you may be better off to buy a system from a reputable online dealer. I picked up an Athlon 1GHz, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB HDD, 810 LMR MB, everything but a monitor for under $400 shipped. At the time I couldn't build one that cheap. Not a gamer by any means...

Artic silver on my cpu

Scotch tape carries a lot of static electricity, I don't think I want it around my CPU.
