VGA will play video files but DVI wont

A very ignorant question, but why won't my monitor (VS VX2025WM) play movies when connected via the DVI cable, but will when connected via VGA? Thanks.

Mushkin 3500 Level 2 Black High Performance BH-5

The 3500 is more for overclocking a P4 than an Athlon. There's plenty of 3200 ram that will run at the same tight timings as this Mushkin, but for cheaper. And 3200 is all you need for an Athlon.
