Weird brute force attempts on my forum, what are they trying to accomplish?

I imagine that doing this across multiple forums and other types of sites, potentially hundreds or thousands of sites per day, results in usable credentials if they are using some kind of "most popular passwords" list. And doing it this way probably avoids automated attack detections, if any...

Question 7xxx series AMD cards overheating as explained by Derbauer

The video basically shows that it's the orientation of the GPU causing the problem for the vapor chamber. In a horizontal position the liquid within the vapor chamber is likely getting hot, and then not cooling properly, and even if you flip it to a vertical position mid-run, it's already too...

Question USB 5v 2A question: What do I need to get the longest continuous fully-powered lighting for this USB product?

I think I was able to google for the product link. I don't know why your link doesn't work. Assuming I'm on the right page, those lights individually are 3.937 (100mm) to 4.528 (115mm) inches across, depending on how you measure the octagonal lights. You appear to be using 29 of them total...

Question USB 5v 2A question: What do I need to get the longest continuous fully-powered lighting for this USB product?

With a 1amp load on 20 to 22awg wire, you're going to lose like 0.2v every meter pushing sourced 5v. That jumps closer to 0.4v per meter with a 2amp load. It'll be worse if the wire gauge is thinner. This is why you don't try to run a printer or something on a 12 foot long USB cord...

Question Slow Ethernet speed

I saw something like this once with a UPS's supposed ethernet protection. I bypassed it and then suddenly the server had expected speeds. Both cables on both sides of the UPS's supposed protection were tested individually to be fine; I assumed it was the UPS itself.

I don't see the point in basing an answer on something from more than 5 or 6 years ago as my guess is few will use that information to make a purchase decision now.

Extending HDMI isn't an issue, really. You just use something like this: https://www.amazon.com/J-Tech-Digital-Extender-Single-1080P/dp/B00G5RBX2Q Depending on exactly what you're doing with USB, a Wireless Mouse/Keyboard can solve some of the distance you may need.
