I apologize for the long post, but I've been staring at this problem for about 8 straight hours. I run a Athlon 2600+ on a Biostar M7NCD, which is a Nforce2 chipset. I have 2 HDDs, a 30 gig Maxtor and a 400 gig Seagate. I had both running in Windows XP. I reformatted the 30 gig HD and...

Need opinions of Computer Rental Industry.

actually, laptop rentals have a future so many conferences/computer shows like to rent laptops for delegates. i see a bright future for that possibly, but not in desktop computing rental as it's so cheap

AT&T overcharged me $47 and refuse to change it

honestly, i've never had a problem with them reversing charges. when they say they don't have the power, someone is lying to you. and about that early termination fee - if it was within 24 hours, i wouldn't pay it. i would argue and fight that.

It's simple man. You didn't know what she expected. You see where she put "Examples?". Well from the instructions, I would've answered everything the way you did. BUT you can tell she's anal and wants long, drawn out explantions and reasoning for what you write. So just do that in the future...

Best way to store/invest your $?

Have you checked out ETFs? i'm thinking of doing it myself: http://www.toyourwealth.com/archives/arch_etf.htm It's an exchanged traded index fund. Basically a S&P 500 diversifed shares in one share. So you can benefit with the stock market and sell it whenever you want to. huy

401k Allocations...

Does your employer match a certain percentage? That's the first reason why 401ks are great, it's free money if your employer matches! Second, it's untaxed when you put it in. So if you were to put your money into an ING accout, you would have less money cause that contribution is taxed.

Best SAT review book?

Man, nothing beats the 10 REAL Sats. Get your hands on as many real SATs as possible. Sometimes they repeat questions, sometimes they are similar. Personally, no offense Zippy, but Princeton Review was too easy for me. If you're trying to shoot up from a low score initally, it's not bad. But if...
