Won't recognize sata

When I first booted up my most recent build the board wouldn't detect the sata hdd I put in there. I went into bios and set sata from raid to ide, it worked. Yesterday I popped in a new psu on that computer and had to unplug the sata cable from the drive to get the power cable in. After getting...

Game Pad

sorry, stupid question: do you need speakers installed to hear it beep during boot up?

I thought the case itself came with the speaker, the last 2 cases I bought came with a system speaker that you hook on the front connection with the mobo.

Yeah, I was playing any game I could throw at it before the switch, the loud beep was actually coming from a little speaker from the card itself, cause my internal speaker was on my desk at that moment. There are no 2D errors, just when it tries to run anything 3d.

F.E.A.R. memory requirements

Ok so I put together this new motherboard today, set it up the way I like it, and got everything working. Later I was looking at the bios features and saw the feature to power up using a password on the keyboard. I set it to do that just to see how it would work and low and behold it won't...

Compaq Presario 1505US Motherboard

You may have to get it from compaq if you want to save your OS(windows xp home I'm assuming). I am pretty sure that it is motherboard specific so if you don't get it from compaq or one that is identical, windows will lock up and ask for an activation key that won't work. Sharp

Recycling Fee On Monitors?

If you say newegg doesn't do that it's probably because they ship from all over the country, and have their monitors purposly shipped from another location, such as Kansas or New Jersey so those fee's aren't collected. Newegg loves their customers:D. DonSharp

www.crazypc.com has custom applique's. I inquired about one once, but there were too many fine lines in my graphic. They're like $20.00 usd + shipping I believe.
