Regular Crashes

My thinking is that you may be under powered. I remember that I had a celeron 300 overclocked to 450 (much like the rest of anandtech) and I had a 300 W power supply. Thing is, whenever my computer crashes due to heavy lifting, it is a temperature thing. Could be that you need to clean out...

Yeah, so that none of that fixed the problem. Any other advice? Although I didn't check without the video card yet because I don't know what I would be looking for. Some explaination there would be appreciated also. Thanks.

How can I check it with the video card out, what am I supposed to be looking for? Also, from the power fittings reply, would I use a floppy power connection for connection 1? I hadn't noticed that before, I will be pi$$ed if that is it, well not really if it fixes everthing. Thanks for all...

DFI NF4 won't boot

Here are my parts: Opteron 165 DFI nF4 Ultra-D 1G OCZ ram eVGA GeForce 6800GT 256MB Antex 520W ps This is all I have connected other than the keyboard, monitor, and mouse. When it boots, it hangs on the vga detect diagnostic light on the motherboard. Any ideas??? A little history...

not sure this is the right place, but how do i rip shows/movies from Tivo?

If you have the tivo to go functionality, all of this becomes very easy to do. It allows you to move the fiels over to your computer. Then, if you go to the tivo site, you will see that they are helping to market the Sonic MyDVD software so that you can then burn the movies/tv shows/what ever...

9700 Pro problem

I am wondering what the problem with my card might be. I have an A7N8X board with a 2500+ barton, 1GB ram (366MHz), the mentioned 9700 Pro, 80GB hard drive, dvd burner, and a cdrom. When I boot, sometimes it won't boot and responds that I have not plugged in the power cord for the video card...

Accessing internet through firewall on solaris problem

C++ Help with Infix to Prefix

This should do you, it puts everything in postfix, the setupword method that it uses just converts operators like + and - to other things so you don't need that. I also don't feel real bad about you not getting the full learning experience of doing it yourself because this is in C, but it should...
