PSU Question: If a PSU is rated at 450 watts? Does that mean 450 watts max output or 450 watts continuous output?

If your electric bill is a concern to you, you may want to check the efficiency ratings the next time you buy a power supply.

How do I reinstall/partition with Windows XP Pro?

I took option #1 and it worked. The second drive is NTFS, so I have no idea why it won't let me make it private (the privatize box was greyed out). Well, no worries; it's all one big C: drive now.

My PSU blew a fuse, can I replace it?

Problems burning a DVD (Pioneer DVR-104)

I just bought this drive yesterday and burned a few CDs so far. However, when I try to burn a 4.2GB data DVD-R, I keep getting a "Communication failure" followed by "Could not perform start of Disc At Once". When I disable DMA I don't get the errors but nothing happens when I get to the burn...

Nevermind, just found that 4.7GB meant 4.7 billion bytes, and not what is normally meant when someone says 4.7GB.

I just got a Pioneer DVR-104 and, using Nero and a Fujifilm 4.7GB DVD, I can't seem to burn more than 4.5GB on one DVD. Can someone please tell me why, and/or suggest a fix?

Pioneer DVR-A04 DVD-RW question

Nevermind, but in case anyone's curious, here's what I got from http://www.pioneerdvdrw.co.uk/about.htm: "Also the DVR-A04 has a new function called ?Active Fan?. This function stops the fan when no heat is sensed and then restarts the fan when heat is re-sensed."
