I just built a new Micro ATX PC with a stock 300 watt PSU. The system boots up fine and regular office apps run fine. However, when I start gaming (any game) the system shutsdown completely after about 10 mins of play. The power won't come back on unless I unplug the AC and plug it back in. Any...
I'm not. I forgot to edit my rig setup. I previously was at 4 Dimms @ 2T. I pulled 2 out and am currently at 1T @ 2-2-2-10. I checked scores and I haven't seen a stock setup as mine with my set of drivers running at 5400. The highest stock setup on ORB with my settings was at 4800. Those guys...
Ok, changed my memory timing to 1T @ 2-2-2-10 per suggestions of others and cleaned up my ATI Catalyst Control Center
Ran 3DMark05 and here are my results:
4579 3DMark
5940 CPU
My Scores
Can't seem to break the 4500 barrier I'm stuck at. Others with my specs and drivers have hit...
My voltage readings are as follows:
VCore: 1.49 v
VDimm: 2.75 v
AGP: 1.50 v
I'm running my memory at 1T 2-2-2-10. THis is faster than my previous 2-2-2-5.
I want to hit about 4800 with the 3DMark and about 5200 with CPU. The CPU doesn't seem to be the problem as I can easily get...
Darn, this is sad news nonetheless. How would I confirm my voltage is spiking? I did find out my RAM was running on 2T. I've then fixed it to 1T @ 2-2-2-5 @ 200Mhz and I've increased my scores by about 200 on the 3DMark. Now I average 3DMark scores of about 4500 and CPU scores of about 5300...
Hi all,
I am currently running an Asus AX800XT PE vid card with the current Asus drivers. I was wondering if I could run the card with the offical ATi drivers (mainly the new Catalyst 4.10 drivers). Is there any known issues that may cause any problems? I'm pretty sure the cards them selves...
I have the same problem and I can't seem to fix it. I've tried everything. It is a driver conflict between the nForce 3 Ultra drivers and the Audigy 2. Please contact me if you found a fix to this problem.
Thanks,
Jeff
Hmmm...i have the same problem. I uninstalled the 5.10 Unified Drivers and chose not to install the IDE SW drivers. I still get this damned error message though ><. Any new updates on this issue? Its bugging the hell outta me. I have emailed MSI and Creative like 100 times each already, and...
Hi all,
Here is my problem. I just put together my PC and everything was fine until after I installed Windows XP Pro and installed my motherboard drivers and utilities (MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum) from the CD that came with the mobo. The CD included drivers for the nVidia nForce 3 Ultra platform...
Hi all,
I just put together my PC and everything is hooked up just fine. From BIOS, i create two RAID 0's from 4 HDs. As I am installing Windows XP Pro and install my RAID drivers, I create two partitions (C: and D:). After Windows Setup formats both drives to NSTF, Windows installs the...
Here is a list of beep codes for AMI, Award, and Phoenix Bioses:
Beep Codes
Mine seems to fall under the catregory of "Bad Memory or Bad Connection" as I have an Award Bios. How would I check if my dimms, or which of my dimms, are bad or not?
I'm having the same damn beep from Hell. I haven't checked my RAM yet as it may be the problem. I'll have to check that tonight.
I was saying the same thing in my thread. See my thread.See my thread.
Hi all,
I ran into a problem yesterday as I was testing my motherboard. I hooked up the power supply (Ultra X-Connect 500w) set at 115v, to my motherboard (MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum) and my chassis (Coolermaster Cavalier T01). On the mobo, I'm running a AMD 64 FX-53 939 and 4 dimms of Corsair...
